Lourinhã is a great place to visit when you are on summer holidays. It's got many monuments, fountains, parks and beaches.
Location
The city is in the south-west of Portugal.
It's on the Atlantic coast
Climate
Lourinhã is hot in summer and cold in winter. June to August and November to January are good months to visit.
Places To Visit
There are lots of places for tourists to visit. You can see lots of churchs for example the church of Santa Maria Do Castelo or the statue of the dinousaurus in a roundabout. In summer, you can always go to the beaches but be careful, because you can see or found a jellyfish. You can go to the sports stadium and see the players playing football. Or you can go to the café and taste one of its custard pastry, they are delicious. You decide what you want to do.
Things To Do
There's lots things to do! You can go in bike or skate to one of its all parks, they are beautiful. You can go to see the Santa Fatima's church, a famous church or go to the science museum of the 80's, It's a very interesant place to visit if you are interested in science. And finally, you can go to a class and learn a little bit of portuguese.
